“A DREAM’S NIGHTMARE”
What hands can wring out the life of your dream
To have you wake up every night with a scream?
Imagine this world without me if you dare
Living everyday with a constant nightmare
A curse, a torment, your mental pain
Shiver me to watch you resisting in vain
Losing your mind to enigmatic trance
The alluring shadows took to evil dance
What hands can caress me like a gentle wave?
Make me the last Ferryboat you’re trying save
Or drown me in this ocean of lost dreams
And be thoughtless of a second glimpse
Or wash me up to the jagged rocks at shore
Sing for the last time of the shattered dream lore
The looming cliff claims me at my ebb
I become scattered stars in ocean depth
Or this is how a dream might end:
Crushed in a cold unyielding hand
In bits and pieces, gone forever
What hands can put me back together?
