Observing the cover model Joseph Putignano, author of ACROBADDICT, one can't
help but be inspired by his story and the dedication it reflects. Joseph's journey into gymnastics, which began at the tender age of seven while watching the 1984 Olympics, is a tale of passion and perseverance. He saw gymnastics as moving art and relentlessly pursued it, learning backflips on his own before officially starting lessons. This self-taught beginning led him quickly onto a gymnastics team, showcasing his natural talent and determination. Joseph's ability to capture this same dedication and discipline in his photo shoot, photographed by Apollo GT and styled with makeup by Jess Berryman, is truly remarkable. The shoot highlights Joseph's athletic form and artistic expression, resonating with a spirit of discipline and beauty that is synonymous with the ethos of Washington D.C.
We just learned that Joe had passed away at the age of 46. RIP Joe. We love you.
